Donate Or Volunteer To Support Recovery

As a nonprofit organization, 501C3 Public Charity, AFAR relies on the generous monetary donations from the community to support our mission. All of our services are provided by volunteers. As a nonprofit organization, we are here to provide a safe place for our residents to build on their recovery from addiction and alcoholism. We also have a variety of volunteer opportunities for you to help us maintain our recovery homes throughout the Burlington, New Jersey, area.

Monetary Donations

We are only able to provide the services we do, thanks to the generous monetary donations from the community. In addition, we accept donations of food, furniture, clothing, and toiletries. All money donated to our organization is used to pay for necessities, such as:

• Food
• Rent
• Scholarships		 • Transportation
• Employment Support
• New Homes
 

Tax-Deductible Donations

All donations are tax-deductible. When you donate over $50, you will receive a certificate of our appreciation. For contributions over $1,000, donors will have a room or a house dedicated in their name. Corporate donations will receive a support plaque of recognition.

Volunteer Opportunities

Our organization is looking for volunteers in the Central New Jersey, area to assist with fundraising activities such as a 5K walk/run and to help get the word out about our efforts. Contact us today to become a volunteer. The only requirement in becoming a volunteer is a desire to help others.
